Stock for Sale
We have a good selection of young horses (from 2005 to 2007) for sale, both pure bred and part bred.
All our foals are handled from birth and trained to lift their feet and to lead around the pasture. Once weaned they are trained to tie up and stand. They also begin basic rope work, learning to give to gentle pressure and accept a pad and coat; they also learn to wear a very light plastic saddle and have a girth strap fastened. As yearlings they go on to doing in hand trail, facing different situations and obstacles in the school and are also lead out to face traffic and new situations away from home. All with the aim of creating a riding horse for any discipline who is ready and willing to learn and who is used to being faced with new situations without becoming stressed.
At all times our horses are treated with firm and consistent kindness and their disposition and confidence is a reflection of this way of handling.
